To our Polio Echo Friends:

I am sad to report that the dissolution of Polio Echo Corporation is underway and will be completed later this summer.  However, the Polio Echo Support Group will continue to function as a unincorporated organization for the remainder of this year.  We will keep the website operational at least for the remainder of 2015.  The Chapters will hold Chapter meetings starting again in September.  We will maintain the Post Office Box for the rest of the year, also.

We plan to have a winter luncheon next December 5th at the Disability Empowerment Center (DEC) open to all of the polio survivors of Arizona.  It will be hosted by Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association (AzSCIA) this year.  If you are on our friends and member list, you will receive more information later in the year.  If not, check this website for Luncheon details.

Those of you who have donated $10 for their membership dues in 2014 will automatically receive membership for one year in Polio Epic in Tucson. You will receive up-to-date information of importance to you as polio survivors.

We are pleased to welcome a new link to our Links page, from Stephanie Hatz, Senior Outreach Coordinator.

Hello Friends at Polio Echo,

My name is Stephanie Hatz, and I am contacting you on behalf of CerebralPalsySymptoms.com. As a senior outreach coordinator, I want to tell you how much I enjoyed your site. I think you do a great deal for your visitors and you present it all in a very positive way. We have a mutual interest in the health of others and I think you will enjoy what I have to say.

As you may know cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood, with a child being born with CP every hour. Our goal is to raise awareness globally for cerebral palsy and other birth injuries. I believe that an inclusion of our site to your resources pages would make a great addition here -www.polioecho.org/Links.html. Please take a look at our site and if you have any questions feel free to ask. I look forward to hearing back from you and thank you for your time.
